Dear website visitors,

PLEASE TAKE JUST ONE MINUTE TO LOOK AROUND BEFORE YOU E-MAIL ME.

Granted, the number of e-mails I’ve gotten asking where to find episodes has gone down substantially since I created the FAQ and linked it off the contact page. But that makes the ones I still get all the more annoying, because they didn’t do the ONE THING I asked them to do before contacting me, and inevitably, their questions were answered there. There was even someone who asked me about hosting the episodes. Dude. The person read the FAQ, but ignored the sentence where I said I was hosting them, and the person completely ignored the INDEX PAGE of all things, and didn’t think to check the downloads page to see if it was there.

Let me put it to you this way: I’m now working. It’s a full-time, 40-hour-per-week job. Include an hour for lunch and other breaks each day. Include another hour of commute time to and from work. And include anywhere from 1-2 hours for working out or orchestra rehearsal, and maybe a little more on top of that for other social stuff that I’m totally taking advantage of since I’m downtown daily and much more accessible. I’m out for around 12 hours a day, every single day. Plus, for my job, I spend 8 hours in a cubicle staring at a computer as I do web design. Outside of checking my e-mail, I don’t want to spend any more time on a computer once I get home. And the last thing I want to do is spend my time being redundant with people who expect to have this stuff spoon-fed to them. IT’S THERE.

I have a life, which doesn’t revolve around this site or Pirates of Dark Water. I have better things to do with my increasingly sparse spare time than spending it sitting at a computer answering redundant questions. Use your common sense, and PAY ATTENTION. Don’t just contact me without putting in a little work of your own first–god knows I’ve put in enough work already to just make all this info accessible to you! Please respect that, and have some respect for me.
